47TH ANNUAL WOODCHOPPER'S JAMBOREE & RODEO
Encampment Parade downtown toward Hwy 70 into
the Town of Riverside, Jackpots & added prizes, WRA Rodeo,
BBQ & Melodrama Saturday night at the Town Hall.
The chips fly on Father's Day weekend in June every year in Encampment as loggers come from all over the country to compete for the title of Rocky Mountain Champion Lumberjack. Using power saws, axes and hand saws, the men and women competitors cut down "trees", chop logs, and saw squared wood blocks in half, racing the clock for the fastest time. Cowboys ride bulls and broncs and the melodrama encourages the audience to get involved. This unique Wyoming event assure a good time to be had by all.

This rodeo provides lots of great actions with local riders and those just starting out in rodeo. Including roping, rough stock and barrel racing events for men and women with fun activities for the kids. This hometown rodeo will provide you with a feel for what rodeo is really about.

13TH ANNUAL STEINLEY CUP & 8TH ANNUAL BULLFEST WEEKEND in Saratoga. Starting at 1 PM on Sat. afternoon on Veteran's Island Park in Saratoga is the official Wyoming State Microbrewery Competition held the third full weekend of August annually. Later that evening, join the Bull Fest competition with bull riders at 7 PM at the Buck Springs Rodeo Grounds near Saratoga. The next day, from 12 - 2 PM again on Veteran's Island Park in Saratoga stick around for the Taste of the West Cook-Off.
