The winner will receive 2 Tickets to see the Denver Broncos take on the New York Jets on December 1oth plus a $150 cash prize. 2nd place will receive $50 and $25 to Honorable Mention. Winners will also have their photo featured on the Carbon County Visitors Council web site and select photos may appear in ads and marketing materials to help promote the county! Both amateur and professional photographers are welcome to participate. Photos may be submitted in digital format or in printed version; see contest rules for details. Please read all the photo contest rules before entering. Only one submitted photo per photographer will be considered for prizes & photos must be taken in Carbon, County, Wyoming.

The Elk Mountain Cabins, are a short drive to the Medicine Bow National Forest. In the shadow of the great Snowy Range you will experience exceptional hiking, fishing, and bird watching.

After a day of exploring you can return to relax at the Elk Mountain Cabins either to grill on the patio or utilize your completely furnished kitchen.

• Victor Anderson originally built the Elk Mountain cabins in the 1940’s. He was one of eight children (John, Andrew, Eric, Carl, Walter, Ruth and Elsie) born to Margaret and Andrew Anderson who immigrated to Wyoming from Sweden. After working on the Union Pacific in Rawlins Wyoming the family settled in Elk Mountain where Andrew Anderson built the main house (4 room cabin) around the turn of the twentieth century.
