The CCVC Autumn 2018 Photo Contest winners have been selected!
Carbon County Visitors’ Council (CCVC) conducts two photo contests per year. The 2018 Spring Photo Contest was launched mid-January and all entries were due by May 31st. On July 18th, the CCVC Board of Directors judged a total of 29 photo entries.
The Carbon County Visitors’ Council is pleased to announce the winning pictures of the 2018 Spring Photo Contest:
1st Place: Greg Bergquist
Our 1st place photo contest winner is Greg Bergquist of Rawlins, Wyoming for his photo “Free on the Range” taken North of Baggs, Wyoming. Greg has won $150! Congratulations Greg!
Kyle Warren, 2nd Place Winner
Our 2nd place $50 winner is Kyle Warren of Hanna, Wyoming with "Fishing for Dinner" taken on the Platte River Saratoga, WY (41.456652, -106.806636).
Cami Roth, Honorable Mention
Our $25 honorable mention winner is Cami Roth of Sterling, Kansas for her photo “Bridge over the North Platte” taken at a bridge across the North Platte River on the Silver Spur Ranch south of Saratoga (41°25'30.4"N 106°46'01.1"W).
CCVC retains the copyright for all photos entered into our bi-annual photo contests and uses many of the photos in advertising Carbon County as a true tourism destination.
